Summer Wine Series at American Beauty Steakhouse: Wine Dinner with James Sparks of Liquid Farm & Kings Carey
American Beauty at The Grove: 189 The Grove Dr,
Los Angeles, CA 90036
Thursday, August 21, 2025 | 6:00 PM
Join American Beauty Steakhouse for their Summer Wine Series featuring three special dinner and wine pairings with three different winemakers. The Thursday, August 21, dinner event is hosted with James Sparks, head winemaker at Liquid Farm and owner/winemaker of Kings Carey. Enjoy a 5-course tasting menu, seasonally inspired and paired with Liquid Farm and Kings Carey wines, featuring American Beauty Steakhouse exclusives.
James Sparks and Liquid Farm reshaped the narrative of California Chardonnay in the early 2010s. With a focus on low-intervention, terroir-driven winemaking, their style was both a reaction to the overly oaked, buttery Chardonnays of the era and a defining voice of a new generation. Liquid Farm proved that restraint, minerality, and vineyard transparency could have commercial appeal — providing sommeliers and consumers with a fresh, compelling benchmark. Today, Sparks continues to lead Liquid Farm while crafting his personal project, Kings Carey — a label devoted to single-varietal, single-vineyard wines that aim to express American terroir with purity and precision.
Guests in the restaurant's dining room will also get to experience a flight of 3 wines from the wine dinner for $35.
August 21 Wine Dinner tickets are $135 per person. ***Click here to reserve.***
