Aging: Neutral oak, 400-L barrels. Aged on the lees for approximately 16 months.
Production: Only 75 cases made.

The Kings Carey 2020 Chardonnay – Eden Rift Vineyards was bottled December 2021. Only 75 cases made.

The vineyard: Organically-farmed, minimal stewardship. Eden Rift Vineyards is located in Hollister, CA, Cienega Valley AVA (Central CA). The land known today as Eden Rift has been under vine since 1849.

The label: Designed and illustrated by artist, Hawk Krall, Kings Carey’s very first Chardonnay release bears a label inspired by a longstanding waterside eatery on Lake Champlain, in the Adirondack region of Upstate New York. Grab a clam roll and a glass; this wine will be a welcome addition to your everyday-drinking collection come spring. So real, we can hear the seagulls.
